PROFILE PICTURE

Whether you choose to use your logo or one of your professional lifestyle shots, the most important thing is that it is consistent on all platforms.

Places to update: Instagram, Facebook, Email picture, Email Signature, Linkedin, Pinterest, YouTube, Twitter, Industry Forums, etc.

My 2 cents. For Service based businesses I suggest your picture, for products use your logo; but it’s your call!

URLS, HANDLES & PAGE TITLES

You likely decided on a business name when we created your logo and/or URL. This should be the same name across all platforms. It’s time to update and create a cohesive brand everywhere!

LOGO & DOCUMENTATION

Time to update EVERYTHING. From your Google Business page, contracts, email signatures, invoices, email marketing. The most common logo file you will use is the PNG file format.

CANVA

Canva is a great, user friendly, tool to do your own graphic design for your business. I recommend upgrading though. This will allow you to create your own brand kit, upload your custom fonts and make life that much easier.

This is also where you can create beautiful graphics for your Facebook Cover, Instagram Highlights with all your new branding elements from your Brand Style Guide.

FONTS

Depending on your fonts, some may already be available to you in some programs, some may not. Should you need to download your fonts simply type them into Google and download them to your computer and add to your program of choice. Custom fonts would have been provided to you with your logo files.

YOUR BRAND STYLE GUIDE

Curious where this comes into play? This becomes your guide to everything your business does. From business cards, your wardrobe for a branding photoshoot, templates for Instagram, colours used on your website or email marketing campaign these are the colour codes you use for any/all elements. Once this guide is used for all platforms and materials you then create a cohesive brand on all platforms.
