When clients decide to move forward with Branding with MWD they have the opportunity to be as involved or uninvolved in the creation of their business’ brand.
It is important that those clients who want to be involved have all the information to make the most informed decisions to ensure what they want to achieve will happen based on their requests.
A study found that people rated the fonts they liked as more aligned with their own political ideology. This is so important to note the importance of font selections.
This blog is to help explain the 3 types of fonts and what they represent.
SERIF
This is a Serif font
Serif fonts portray tradition, sophistication and a formal tone. A stable, practical, mature and formal vibe.
Serif fonts are identifiable by the small lines on the edges of letters (called serifs) that make the font easier to read in print.
These types of fonts are commonly used for Heading text.
SANS SERIF
This is a Sans Serif font
Sans serif fonts are modern, humanist, progressive, chic, crisp and neutral. A friendly, and very approachable vibe.
Sans serif font letters don’t have a serif attached to them, so they display more clearly on websites.
These types of fonts are commonly used for body/paragraph text.
SCRIPT
This is a script font
Script fonts portray elegance, creativity and a more personal tone. These typically bring out the most emotion from viewers.
Script typeface are meant to imitate the fluidity of human handwriting.
These types of fonts are commonly used for accent/detail text.
