Is It Time For A New Website?
The thought of investing in a new website might feel daunting. The time, the money, the effort. It can be a lot.
How do you know when it’s time to make the investment? Here are some of the top signs.
1. Your website is not generating revenue (or leads), or your website lacks a sales/conversion funnel. This is a big one, and one that might not always feel obvious. Your website should be more than just a “pretty face” for your business. It should accelerate new clients/sales.
2. Your website looks or feels outdated or doesn’t command trust. This can be a little more subjective, but you’ll know. And if you’re not sure, it’s probably time for the update.
3. Your site takes a long time to load, isn’t SEO optimized, or isn’t mobile-friendly. These are all versions of the same issue. Your website isn’t working for you or your potential clients.
4. When people visit your website they don’t stay long, they don’t understand what you do, or they leave confused or ambivalent. Your website isn’t converting people to fans, clients or customers.
5. Your site was a DIY project. Most business owners aren’t designers, but that doesn’t mean your business should look unprofessional. Find the right business partners to help with the design and copy.
